How to Order

Prices

First familiarise yourself with the prices of the commissions so you know what your commission could cost depending on the size and how many subjects you would like in the portrait.

Enquire

Get in touch either via email or the contact form about your portrait requirements. Let me know about the size and how many subjects you’d like, and I can answer any questions you have about the process and workshop any issues. Make sure to tell me if you have a deadline for the portrait and I can try to work to that deadline depending on other bookings.

Reference Photos

After equiring and talking about your portrait I’ll need a clear and high definition photograph to work from. Ensure that it’s a high quality image so that I can zoom in and get all the details of your pet to make sure the portrait is as detailed as possible. Photos that have been taken in natural light are usual the best to work from, but I can also cross reference from other photos as well. You can always send multiple favourite photos of your pet(s) and let me decide which one will be best for the portrait, in this case and if you need multiple pets drawn I’ll send over a pdf of the composition for your approval before starting the piece.

Payments and Deposits

Before starting the piece I’ll require a 50% deposit to secure your slot and then the rest of the payment upon completion and approval of the piece. If this isn’t possible send an email and we can discuss the possibility of payment plans.

Completion

Once I feel the piece is completed I’ll send over a photo for approval and for any small adjustments to be made to it. Once you give me your approval the final payment can be made and then I’ll package and send the piece to you/the intended recipient.
